Newbie Artist Training Grounds II: Day 19; Theme: Draw a pony cooking/Draw a pony with a plate

It is Daring Doo cooking marshmallows in place that resemble the Kalahari Desert.

An one hour drawing. Inspired by yesterday landscape art, I decided to try one for ATG. Some of the background trees are too messy. And I need work on my ground gradient.

Pony vs Wild. I would watch that. I hope Daring Do teaches us how to find marshmallows in the wild.

Toasted marshmallows are the best. Especially with some graham cracker and chocolate.

The fire is quite eye-catching. Glad the pose is alright, I have to change it 20 min in because she looks too short. Imagine the thighs where the wings are now.

I heard you can toast marshmallows using the stove top but that doesn't sounds quite the same.

Nah man, half the fun is getting a good marshmallow roasting fire going!
Though I remember I used to put marshmallows in the microwave, cause they got really huge. Not the same though.

I don't think they did, but I put chocolate chips on top of them and they melted through into the marshmallows. It was pretty cool.
They expanded to 2-3 times their original size though.
Good times.
